The purpose of this class is to overview beginning engraving on Slate coasters and signs. While this is not a hands-on class you will see the Coaster Creation process from start to finish and will receive written process notes and resources so you can make some coasters or signs at home. You will also see an overview of the Curio design placement method making registration marks unnecessary.
Cindy will teach you how to etch a slate project on your Curio. This is a great gift that can be personalized and will give you a good introduction to basic etching on alternative materials. The class will include a Product overview & safety precautions. There will also be a demonstration of Cindy making a coaster designed in class.
